How to connect Mediatoolkit to Databox

To get started, you’ll need to go through a short 4-step onboarding process to set up your account. You’ll be prompted to select your data integration, metrics and connect to your data. The first step will prompt you to select which data source you’d like to connect to first. Databox offers a number of data integrations that work as out-of-the-box connectors to your data source. For the majority of these, all you need are your authentication credentials. As a data source select Mediatoolkit. All five key metrics will be chosen automatically, but you can untick those you don’t want. 

Once you’ve successfully authenticated Mediatoolkit, a new datacard will be created. Automatically, Databox will start retrieving the data and populating your new datacard with the selected datablocks. If you select more than one integration, this process is simply repeated.

Databox does rest of the work for you. Once this is done, your integration is ready.

In addition to knowing when your brand is being mentioned, the Influencers overview integration also allows you to learn who is talking about your brand.  It lists the sources and channels mentioning your brand from the one with the highest influence to the one with the lowest influence, and calculates how many people saw the mention coming from that source. If you’re tracking something other than your brand, like a general industry topic, this is an easy way to discover new influencers.

The Top mentions by reach feature is the way to see that in just seconds. It shows mentions from websites, social media channels or comments that were seen by most people.
